Trillium Wins NYS Community-Controlled Affordable Housing Grant

Trillium wins $75,000 Grant from NYS

Trillium is excited to announce it won a $75,000 Community-Controlled Affordable Housing (CCAH) grant from New York State Office of Homes and Community Renewal.

Trillium will use this grant for pre-development expenses for a pilot project. Pre-development includes acquisition costs, feasibility studies, architecture and design services, legal fees, environmental services, and more.

The Community-Controlled Affordable Housing grant program aims to support projects that emphasize resident control and long-term affordability. A total of $1 million was disbursed to non-profits across the state working on housing projects that increase resident control.

This is the second round of the CCAH grant. Trillium received $20,000 in the first round for planning expenses. These funds are making it possible for Trillium to advance our programmatic work.  We are deeply grateful to NYS Office of Homes and Community Renewal and proud to be in a cohort with other organizations bringing communities more autonomy in their housing.
